A high strength steel manufacturer needed to inspect steel for temperature anomalies. They came to Pyramid Imaging for assistance due to the very difficult environmental conditions. The temperatures above the steel were very hot and few electronics systems could withstand these conditions for very long. Pyramid Imaging helped with the overall system design utilizing innovative cooling techniques and fiber optic data transmission from the line scan cameras deployed over the steel. The success of this system resulted in numerous systems deployed across three manufacturing sites in the Southeast United States.
