The World's largest medical device manufacturer needed a turnkey system that would allow the company tracking and traceability of their devices and surgical instruments when shipped or when received. Pyramid Imaging put together a complete turnkey system dubbed Snap2DB that comprised an imaging system and software that would archive images of all items in a shipping container both prior to shipping as well as at receiving. Snap2DB worked exceedingly well and has been installed on dozens of shipping and receiving lines within three manufacturing and distribution sites.
